Bianca takes the music industry by storm
Local is definitely lekker, especially if it’s homegrown Pretoria talent.
Young Centurion singer Bianca Blanc recently released her much-anticipated debut single Butterflies and we can’t wait for the full album to drop early next year.
Bianca is a talented and hardworking young singer/songwriter with an amazing voice and passion for music.
She writes in English and Afrikaans, shaping her tunes on either the guitar or ukulele.
She recently signed her first record deal with Just Music, after being brought to the label’s attention through her participation in the Just Inspired live acoustic sessions project earlier this year.
Butterflies was produced by Matthew Fink at the Just Music studio in Johannesburg, with recording sessions needing to be carefully planned around Bianca’s studies. She recently finished writing her final matric exams.
The talented songstress has already made notable inroads into the live music scene. Over the past year she opened for the likes of Elvis Blue, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jesse Clegg, Matthew Mole, Wonderboom, Arno Carstens and comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout. She has also featured at several leading local music festivals such as KKNK, Pure & Crafted Festival and Aardklop.
This fresh young talent is destined to make a strong impression on the South African music scene. Be sure to take a listen to Butterflies and catch Bianca Blanc live soon.
