On the hunt for beautiful and uniquely designed furniture to fit your living spaces? Look no further than Incanda Furniture. Incanda started from humble beginnings when owner Gerhard van Deventer started selling porcupine quill and guinea fowl feather lampshades and some tanned Nguni cow skins from the farm he grew up on in Swellendam, in the Southern Cape shortly after finishing his studies. It’s also how the name came to be – Incanda means porcupine in Xhosa. From the quills, Gerhard moved on to tanning and selling of all kinds of game skin like Zebra and Springbok and also bovine (cow) leather. And from there Incanda started with upholstery, got their own mini sawmill, specialized in interior decorating and curtaining, and bought a woodwork factory. Today the team focus on what they do best – making beautiful upmarket furniture. And boy, their furniture are amazing. Uniquely designed and truly South African inspired, Incanda Furniture is fast becoming the most loved furniture brand in the country.Selling everything from couches, chairs, corner units, beds and headboards, servers, plasmas and wine racks, dining tables and seating, coffee tables and side tables, bookshelves, desks, dressers, ottomans and everything in between.
