Pack… and away
You’ve waited all year and the time has finally arrived. It’s time to start packing for your holiday. But where to start? And what do you still need? For some, packing is one of the most daunting tasks, especially since you have to fit everything you might need for your holiday in one suitcase. Ridiculous, right? We looked around for some easy to follow tips to help make your life just a little bit easier.
1. MAKE A CHECKLIST
We know that you already spent weeks planning your trip, and packing isn’t supposed to be rocket science. But planning is key, especially when space is limited. Lay out everything you plan to take so it’s easy to see what to pack and what to leave. Then it’s time to eliminate all the unnecessary choices. And be ruthless.
2. ALWAYS ROLL
Yeah, we know you’ve heard it somewhere before. By simply rolling your clothes instead of folding them you can save loads of space and there is less chance of wrinkling. And did we mention that you can pack more stuff?!
3. BLING IT
Us women tend to pack at least one outfit per day. But add it all up and space can definitely be a problem. Rather selecteda few statement jewellery pieces and add them to different outfits to create different looks. You can mix and match outfits, easy.
4. STUFF IT
Stuff smaller items like belts, jewellery (in bags of course) and socks inside your shoes. This will save space and you will know exactly where to find them. The shoes will help keep all your little
accessories together and dry if needed. Another tip is to fit socks over brushes so they don’t cause damage to your clothing.
