Spicy pressed porterhouse steaks

Serves 4 – 6


  • 10 ml Robertsons Paprika
  • 5 ml Robertsons Cumin
  • 30 ml Soft Brown Sugar
  • 5 ml Mustard Powder
  • Robertsons Atlantic Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 3 Robertsons Bay Leaves crushed
  • 6 Porterhouse Steaks


  1. Combine the ingredients together. Press onto the meat at least an hour before cooking so that the flavours can be absorbed.
  2. Braai over medium to hot coals until cooked to your liking, usually 8 – 10 minutes, turning periodically.
